Cost per milligram
Can you compare nerve supplements price by cost per milligram?
Only when the label prints an amount. A proprietary blend can declare one total weight with no amount for each ingredient (21 CFR 101.36(c), proprietary blends), and then a cost per milligram of any one ingredient cannot be worked out.
Flow Nerves is in that position. We hold no Supplement Facts panel and no milligram amount for any of the six named ingredients, so we give no cost per ingredient. Studies used doses such as 600 to 1,800 mg a day of alpha lipoic acid (Hsieh 2023, oral alpha-lipoic acid meta), but no trial tested Flow Nerves.
